Is this a wash, should it be ran through a still or is this a finished product after fermentation is finished. seems feasable thank you for your time...
1) this is a wash. 2a) let sit until much clearer 2b) add fining agents then wait for clarity 3) siphon the clearer liquid off the muddy bottom (mud = waste) 4a) [this is kilju] add flavorings, etc, drink ... 4b) see 2a, 3, 4a or 5) distill to desired objective(s) 6) flavor, cut, age, etc to taste
Yes it is drinkable tried myself, would definatly recommend buying and adding the klar both are available to buy on eBay, even if you don't use the klar it is still drinkable and with a mixer quite nice, I haven't got a alcohol % tester myself but I done it In a 10litre container with 65g of alcotec yeast and 3.6kg of sugar and I personally think it was stronger than 20% it stopped fermenting after 6 and a half days and was quite strong

ReplyDeleteHow much alcohol produce during this process??
ReplyDeleteThe maker says 20% and I'm assuming they mean literally 20% alcohol (40% proof).
ReplyDeleteIf that's 10 litres then it would be 2 litres approximately.
How warm does the area have to be to ferment it?
